1926 Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia

1936 Moved to the UK with her family

1945 Married Herbert Spencer (1924-2002) the graphic designer and founder of the
magazine Typographica

1946 - 1949 Studied at the Slade School of Fine Art & Central School of Textile Design
